Doctor Shari Tahririan was raised in Oregon and completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in Portland, Oregon. In 2003 she graduated with a BA in Biology and a Minor in Art from Portland State University. She then earned her dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 2007.
“My passion for painting, sculpture, and attention to details inspired me to become a dentist. It has always been my dream to merge my clinical and artistic skills to create new things. This passion has carried over to my professional practice. My goal is to make people happy and to give them an everlasting and beautiful smile.”
She practiced in Portland for three years after dental school before moving to San Diego to pursue her dreams. After spending 6 years in San Diego working for local dentists, she is now the proud owner of New Smile Dentistry. She continues to take classes and keep herself up to date with new techniques and the latest technology. She is a member of AGD and is certified in Invisalign.
“I would like my patients to know that the dental profession appeals to me because I am passionate about Art and helping others. I believe that quality dental care is a combination of all these things; attention to detail, striving for perfection, compassion, and listening to patients needs so they have the best dental care possible. I feel that being a general dentist allows me to treat patients with differing needs; whether it is a bridge, root canal, or just restorations.”
In her free time, Dr. Shari enjoys water activities and traveling to new places.
